What's left behind the scenes
- After the reconstruction of the Maracanã Stadium, its appearance changed significantly compared to 1999. To film the scenes for the first episode, the crew specifically searched the entire country for a stadium with the appropriate architecture. Missing elements were added using computer graphics and archival footage.
- Initially, the role of Carminha was intended for two actresses, who were to play the antagonist in two different time periods: Fabíula Nascimento in 1999 and Eliane Jardini in 2012. In the final cast, Fabíula played Monalisa's friend, Olenka, and Eliane played Typhoon's loud mother, Muricy. Subsequently, the screenwriter utilized the strong physical resemblance between the two actresses in the development of their respective characters.
- The team Typhoon plays for is Flamengo, which was indeed the champion of the state of Rio de Janeiro in 1999.
