What's left behind the scenes

The filming of "The Vampire Diaries" took place concurrently with the filming of the new installment of the Twilight saga, "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," and the actors from both projects stayed in the same hotel.
In episode 1.13, in an 1864 flashback, Renoir's painting 'Girls at the Piano' is hanging in Katherine's room, despite it not being painted until 1892.
