What's left behind the scenes
- Over time, the filmmakers grew so fond of the characters that they often asked screenwriter Gen Urobuchi not to kill off certain heroes for a while longer. In response to such requests, Gen Urobuchi invariably suggested that the filmmakers attend one of the regular writers' meetings to resolve the matter there.
- Using cryptology, American fans of the film managed to decipher the runes that appear frequently throughout the movie.
