Short description

Thanks to his police officer father's efforts, Shawn Spencer spent his childhood developing a keen eye for detail (and a lasting dislike of his dad). Years later, Shawn's frequent tips to the police lead to him being falsely accused of a crime he solved. Now, Shawn has no choice but to use his abilities to perpetuate his cover story: psychic crime-solving powers, all the while dragging his best friend, his dad, and the police along for the ride.

What's left behind the scenes

James Roday and Dulé Hill signed their autographs on the passenger-side rearview mirror of the Blueberry sold at auction.
The project is based on the story of how the show's creator, Steve Franks (who served in the Los Angeles Police Department), was taught observational skills by his father.
The series was filmed simultaneously with the series 'Supernatural' (2005-2020), and background actors frequently appeared in both.
When Kirsten Nelson auditioned for the role in this project, she was expecting a child; she gave birth during the filming of the first few episodes, after which she had to wear a prosthetic belly for her character until the end of the pregnancy.
The film crew included an entire department whose staff were exclusively responsible for planting greenery for subsequent filming.
In episode 51 of season 3, the hubcap of Gus's front right wheel flies off (27:15). A few seconds later, it can be seen that the hubcap is back in place.
