What's left behind the scenes

While playing Camilla, actress Amy Adams specifically spoke in a low voice to avoid sounding like the drunken Giselle, her character from the fantasy musical film 'Enchanted' (Kevin Lima, 2007).
The mother's name, 'Adora,' comes from the Spanish word 'adorar,' meaning 'to adore' or 'to worship.' The daughter's name, 'Amma,' is phonetically similar to the Spanish word 'amor,' meaning 'love.'

Chris Messina and Amy Adams starred together in Nora Ephron's biographical film 'Julie & Julia' (2009). After filming, they remained friends, and it was Messina who suggested casting Adams in the role of Camilla.
