Short description
A suburban couple's ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

- In the first episode, the mutant's phone ringtone is the musical theme from the X-Men animated series (1992-1997).
- In the first episode, when Reed goes to the bar to meet Marcos, there is a painting of a she-wolf on the wall behind Marcos—a reference to a well-known mutant.
- Eclipse is a character created specifically for the series. He shares the same codename as the mutant Sunspot from the 'Age of X' timeline. Like Eclipse, Sunspot's supernatural abilities are also based on solar energy.
