Ed Gernon, the film's executive producer, was fired for comparing the atmosphere of fear in the Third Reich to the War on Terror. Some of Gernon's colleagues stated that CBS made this decision due to an article in the New York Post, which claimed the statement was an example of Hollywood anti-Americanism.
The film is banned from screening in Belarus.
