What's left behind the scenes

  • Filming for the series began on July 13, 2007.
  • Two hundred girls were auditioned for the role of Pugovka.
  • Throughout 266 episodes, Olga Volkova wore a wig; it was only starting from episode 267 that she appeared for the first time with her natural hair.
  • In one of the episodes of episode 201, an episode of '6 Kadrov' is playing on TV. Meanwhile, in one of the sketches of the 69th episode of '6 Kadrov', episode 130 of 'Daddy's Daughters' is playing on TV.
  • Germany bought the rights to adapt this series.
  • Radio 'Aktivnoe' actually exists—but it broadcasts in the city of Balakovo, Saratov region, on the frequency 99.6 FM. The station airs music in the Dance/Club style.
  • The first episode of almost every season begins with the final shots of the previous one—the last episode of the previous season—but this is not a simple repeat, but a reshot scene.
  • Anastasia Sivaeva initially auditioned for the role of Masha, but the producers themselves saw her specifically as the goth character.
  • In episode 156, upon seeing Palkin, a boy says: 'I saw you in Bumer. You died.' This is a reference to the film Bumer, which featured Maxim Konovalov, the actor who played Palkin.
  • In the 57th episode at the 7-minute mark, Galina Sergeevna says: 'Shevchenko moved from Milan to Chelsea, and Dashka moved from judo to algebra,' meaning she used the name of the actress, Darya Melnikova, instead of the character's name.
