Short description
Four egocentric friends run a neighborhood Irish pub in Philadelphia and try to find their way through the adult world of work and relationships. Unfortunately, their warped views and precarious judgments often lead them to trouble, creating a myriad of uncomfortable situations that usually only get worse before they get better.

What's left behind the scenes
- Charlie Day, who played Charlie, is married to Mary Elizabeth Ellis, who played the role of the Waitress.
- Experts claim that Dennis Reynolds suffers from narcissistic personality disorder, antisocial personality disorder, and borderline personality disorder. In the 3rd episode of Season 10, he is given one of these diagnoses.
- In the summer of 2008, Caitlin Olson suffered a serious injury, meaning the actress was still in recovery during the filming of Season 4. Because of this, the scene where Cutie Dee falls was moved from Season 4 to Season 5.
- Throughout the first two seasons, 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' was one of the lowest-budget series in television history. As the show's popularity grew, its budget increased.
