What's left behind the scenes

In The Simpsons (the episode "The Regina Monologues"), when the characters visit London, they are met at the airport by British Prime Minister Tony Blair. Homer Simpson mistakes him for Mr. Bean.
In the episode "Do It Yourself, Mr. Bean," Bean paints the walls of his apartment by exploding a firecracker dipped in a can of paint. In reality, it is impossible to paint walls evenly this way. This was proven experimentally in episode 52 of the American popular science show "MythBusters," broadcast on the Discovery channel.
Initially, Rowan Atkinson believed that the new character would hinder his personal life. However, the exact opposite happened—he met his future wife on the set of the series.
