Short description
An alcoholic falls in love with and gets married to a young woman, whom he systematically addicts to booze so they can share his "passion" together.

To their horror, about 40 couples of viewers got up and left during the screening (a studio record). It only became clear later that the promotional posters had forgotten to mention that it was a drama, and the audience, unaware, had come expecting a comedy starring Jack Lemmon.
