Short description
Martin Lawrence plays Jamal, an employee in Medieval World amusement park. After nearly drowning in the moat, he awakens to find himself in 14th century England.
What's left behind the scenes
- Paula Abdul choreographed one of the dances.
- The scene where Princess Regina trips over the bedspreads on her bed and falls was not originally planned in the script. Jeanette Vigar tripped and fell purely by accident, but the resulting footage was so pleasing to the director that he included it in the final version of the film.
- The flag of Hungary is visible in some scenes of the film.
- The film was originally scheduled for release in May 2001, then in January 2001. Ultimately, it was released on November 21, 2001.
