Short description

In 1889, seventeen men die under mysterious circumstances, and spooked by recent events, the miners who populate the town leave in droves until there's nothing left but a shell of a community.

What's left behind the scenes

  • The giant shotgun actually existed. It was mounted on a flat-bottomed boat, the barrel was aimed at where a flock of ducks were feeding, and the trigger was pulled.
  • Michael Gross is the only one who has appeared in all six films of the franchise.
  • During their journey, the heroes come across a wrecked van belonging to a character named 'Old Fred.' This was the same name as one of the characters in the original 'Tremors' films – a farmer who perished with his sheep as one of the first victims. The creators of this film pay tribute to his death.
  • The film is set in 1889, but at one point a 1912 Case 10 hp engine appears on screen. The fact is that the steam engine had not yet been invented in the years depicted.
  • When the last earth dragon dies, pieces of its body fly around the men. None of the fragments fall on them, but literally the next moment entrails of the creature are shown on Juan and Pion's shirts and shoulders.
  • During their journey, the heroes come across a wrecked van belonging to a character named "Old Fred." This was the same name as one of the characters in the original *Tremors* films. He was a farmer who perished with his sheep as one of the first victims. The filmmakers pay tribute to his death.
