Judging by the student ID, the character voiced by Sayumi Watabe is supposed to be an alpaca, but in reality, it is an Angora goat.
Paru Itagaki drew Legoshi back in school, but the development of the character as such and the entire concept of "Beastars" took years.
Screenwriter Paru Itagaki named the wolf, voiced by Chikahiro Kobayashi, Legoshi in honor of actor Bela Lugosi, and incorporated features of actors Mathieu Amalric and Kenichi Matsuyama into his appearance.
