What's left behind the scenes

Unlike the series 'The Mandalorian' (2019-), 'The Book of Boba Fett' (2021-), and 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' (2022-), where virtual sets and locations created via computer technology are used in most scenes, the action of this series takes place primarily on sets built at Pinewood Studios.
Members of the crew and the creative team often walked to the filming locations, and at times these walks were quite long. According to lead actor Diego Luna, when filming in Pitlochry (a small town in central Scotland), they had to climb a mountainside for several hours just to film a single scene.
The house of the character played by Fiona Shaw was built from the wreckage of old starships. The actress liked it so much that she would often step aside just to stand and admire the house.
