What's left behind the scenes

  • Kat Dennings' character mocks Caroline's love for the series “Sex and the City” (1998-2004), although in real life, the actress herself appeared in one episode of the series, which was her first screen role.
  • The series' characters speak with accents because they are from other countries, although in reality, Jonathan Kite, Jennifer Coolidge, and Matthew Moy were born in the US and all have American pronunciations. Moy plays a Korean, but he is actually of Chinese descent.
