What's left behind the scenes
- At the beginning of the episode 'The Eye and the Object,' a clip from the animated short 'To Build a Better Mousetrap' (1999) is shown. It was directed by Christopher Leone, one of the creators of the series 'The Lost Room'.
- In the promotional spot for the series that aired on the Sci-Fi channel, the child lost in the room was played by a different girl than the one who appeared in the series.
- In the first episode, 'The Key and the Clock,' Joe Miller, played by Peter Krause, leaves his daughter at a clinic. As he departs, Doctor Sonny Gupta is called over the intercom. 'Doctor Sonny Gupta' is a character from the series 'Royal Hospital' (2004), directed by Craig R. Baxley and written by Stephen King.
