What's left behind the scenes

The music for 'Fullmetal Alchemist' was recorded at the Mosfilm sound studio. Composer Michiru Oshima worked with a Russian orchestra. Tatyana Naumova, a Japanologist and the organizer of this joint venture, wrote the Russian lyrics for the song 'Brothers,' which can be heard at the end of the 3rd episode. It was performed by the Vera Choir.
The Japanese title translates as 'Steel Alchemist,' however, the creators gave the series the English title 'Fullmetal Alchemist,' which literally translates as 'Full-Metal Alchemist.'
