The cafe scenes were filmed in an old establishment in Seoul, which was renovated beforehand. After filming was completed, the cafe opened to the public. Props from the set were displayed in the hall as decor.
Initially, another actress was planned for the role of Eun-Chan, but she was bound by the terms of a shampoo advertisement contract, one of the clauses of which forbade her from cutting her hair.
