Michael Hanratty - known for his work in such projects: «Immure» (2016),

London native Michael Hanratty is Doorbells’ resident ‘triple threat’ serving as writer, director and star. His acting training included graduate studies at London’s Drama Centre and the Giles Foreman Centre for Acting. His background in theatre has seen him perform at the Royal Opera House and in ground breaking Shakespeare productions with Hiraeth Artistic Productions. While at Hiraeth, Michael appeared in the critically acclaimed “Titus Andronicus” set in 1980’s English extremist skinhead culture at the Arcola Theatre. Michael has appeared in several short films over the last few years including the multiple award winning “The Border”. His starring role in “Immure” featuring the work of two-time Oscar winner, Mark Coulier, helped the film win the Grand Prize & Best Horror award at the 2016 Lancaster International Short Film Festival. Michael will make his feature film debut in 2017 with his starring role in “Different”. Michael has written and directed for the stage and served as editor on the short film “Parker’s Son”, and will make his directorial debut in “Doorbells”.
