Atsushi Sato (佐藤 篤司) is a Japanese animator currently working for Sony Pictures Imageworks in Vancouver. Previously, he worked for Walt Disney Feature Animation.

Atsushi Sato was born in 1964. After graduating from Tama Art Junior College, he moved to the United States in 1991. As a senior animator, he has participated in Lord of the Rings: Two Towers and Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, as well as an animator supervisor in King Kong (2005) and I, Robot, as a character animator in Alice in Wonderland (2010), and as a senior character animator in The Amazing Spider-Man.
