Short description

Nico Toscani is an Italian immigrant, American patriot, ex-CIA agent, aikido specialist and unorthodox Chicago policeman. He is as committed to his job as he is to his personalized brand of justice—expert and thorough bone-crushing.

What's left behind the scenes

  • What is shown in the film as a summer electronics show in Chicago was actually filmed during a winter computer exhibition in Las Vegas. To achieve this, the film crew obtained press credentials and pretended to be filming certain parts of the exposition.
  • The opening credits are shown against a backdrop of childhood and youth photos of Steven Seagal.
  • During the final fight scene, Henry Silva broke Steven Seagal’s nose. The actor was urgently taken to the hospital, but was back on set the next day. (Seagal applied ice to his face all night to prevent bruising.)
  • While preparing for filming, Steven Seagal and Daniel Faraldo accompanied police officers on duty.
