Short description

A spoof of buddy cop movies where two very different cops are forced to team up on a new reality based T.V. cop show.

What's left behind the scenes

Scenes explaining why Mitch needed a new partner were filmed but cut during editing. At the beginning of the film, they were working undercover with a partner who was wounded. This was followed by a scene of Mitch visiting his partner in the hospital and seeing that he was considering retirement.
Drena De Niro, Robert De Niro's adopted daughter, played the role of the heroine Rene Russo's assistant.
