Short description

While working a job at an exclusive ski resort to support her Dad, Kim learns to snowboard and is so good at it that she enters a competition with a huge cash prize. She has to dig deep to overcome her fears, but her life gets more complicated through her spoken-for boss, Jonny.

What's left behind the scenes

Preparing for the role of an experienced snowboarder, Felicity Jones trained for 6 hours daily for 4 weeks.
During filming, insurance companies strictly prohibited director Phil Traill, his assistant Joe Giari, and actor Ed Westwick (who played Johnny) from skiing. Meanwhile, Westwick is an experienced skier, having first gotten on skis at the age of 12.
To save on the film's budget, Bill Nighy and Brooke Shields used their own personal sports equipment.
Brooke Shields jumped at the opportunity to work with Phil Traill because she had long wanted to star in a film with Bill Nighy.
Tom Williams wrote a total of 123 script drafts before the producers were completely satisfied.
Felicity Jones landed the lead role as soon as she auditioned. Upon seeing her, director Phil Traill immediately understood that she was perfect for the role of Kim.
Bill Bailey was cast as Kim's father because he and Phil Traill were members of the same club.
