Short description

Sean Kane is forced to resign from the San Francisco Police Department's Narcotics Division when he goes berserk after his partner is murdered. He decides to fight alone and follows a trail of drug traffickers into unexpected high places.

What's left behind the scenes

  • The producers initially wanted to cast André the Giant as the Professor, believing that Toru Tanaka, at 180 cm, was not tall enough to play the role. Ultimately, they decided that Tanaka himself would be more convincing on screen (and, moreover, his fee would be smaller and there would be no scheduling conflicts), so they decided to film with him, instructing him to wear platform shoes.
  • As Sean leaves the police station, we see his car approach a T-intersection and prepare to turn, but Sergeant Stevens continues to watch Kane's car from the police station window, following it almost to the horizon.
