Short description

Angela Baker escapes from a mental hospital and surfaces at a summer camp as a counselor who lectures her teenage charges on proper moral behavior. Those teens who break her strict rules -- from the camp chatterbox or a sex-obsessed girl to the boys who are peeping Toms -- are murdered by the impostor in various gruesome ways. As more campers go missing, intrepid counselor Molly begins to piece together the truth.

What's left behind the scenes

During filming, Terry Hobbs, who played the role of Rob, was a minor, so Valerie Hartman performed the love scene with a body double. Whenever Hartman is shown nude, Hobbs was not on set.
Felice Rose was again offered the lead role; she even read the script, but she didn't like that her character was full of quips, so she declined. Additionally, Rose was preparing for college entrance exams during that period.
Some members of the acting ensemble were 16-17 years old, meaning they were considered minors, so state authorities sent their representatives to the set to ensure that the minors were not being forced to appear in scenes with nudity or to swear and use obscenities.
The protagonist's dream sequence was filmed to bring the film's duration up to the required length, namely 80 minutes.
