Short description

Hard man Ricky is incarcerated in a futuristic prison where ultra-violence is his only means of survival in the corrupt, sadistic system. He must battle his way quite literally "through" the feared "Gang of Four" and undergo multiple tortures before facing the governor in one of the goriest climaxes ever seen.

What's left behind the scenes

The final scene used such thick fake blood that actor Sui Wong Fan, who played Ricky, couldn't wash it off his body for three days.
This is the first Hong Kong film to receive a Category III rating not for sexual scenes, but for the level of visual violence on screen.
