Short description
A new batch of recruits arrives at Police Academy, this time a group of civilian volunteers who have joined Commandant Lassard's new Citizens on Patrol program. Although the community relations project has strong governmental support, a disgusted Captain Harris is determined to see it fail.
What's left behind the scenes
- For actor David Spade, the role in this film was his debut, while for Jack Krill it was his last.
- Despite his fear of heights, actor David Graf, who played Tackleberry, agreed to film scenes on the airplane, and the necessary scenes were shot in one take.
- The fourth installment was initially planned to be filmed immediately after the third, but production was halted due to the death of the director of the second and third films – Jerry Paris.
- Legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk made a cameo appearance in this film. He can be seen among Arnie and Kyle's friends.
