What's left behind the scenes

The idea for the series was conceived by Jay Oliva (who also became one of the directors) during a phone call with John Derderian from Netflix. During a meeting with the writers of his previous project, 'Trese' (2021), someone asked Oliva if he knew anything about Norse mythology. This gave birth to the general idea, which Netflix liked. It was suggested to approach Zack Snyder (who became one of the writers), and Snyder and Oliva then brought writer Eric Carrasco onto the team.
