Short description

What's left behind the scenes

The series takes place in the fictional city of Kir, while filming took place in New York and New Jersey.
While writing the script, Dan Erickson himself found it difficult to strike a balance between his career and personal life because he loves his work so much.
The main character, Mark (Adam Scott), wears Soviet military watches produced at the Chistopol Watch Factory, known as "Komandirskie." They first appear in the series at the beginning of the first episode, when Mark is crying while sitting in his car.
The computer keyboards lack an escape key, which is standard for the Data General Dasher line of keyboards.
In the clip shown on the computer screen of Helli (played by Brittney Lower), Kier Egen, played by Mark Geller, speaks with the voice of the series director and producer Ben Stiller.
