Short description
After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins.

What's left behind the scenes
- The titles of all episodes in the 3rd season are borrowed from real-life movies.
- Photographs of all characters "killed off" by the script were posted on a special display board.
- Dr. Mixter is mentioned in the second episode of the first season. In Rob Zombie's horror film "Halloween II," this name was borne by a character played by Ford Rainey.
- Some actors played several characters across the series and the entire franchise. The record is held by Devon Sawa, who played five characters: Luke and Logan Wheeler, Bruce's father, President James Collins, and his double, Randall Jenkins. All characters played by Sawa died.
- In the 8th episode of the 2nd season, the combination 110988 is required to open the safe. Tom Holland's horror film 'Child's Play' was released in US theaters on November 9, 1988. This same date is listed on Charles Lee Ray's tombstone in the 3rd episode of the 1st season.
- Producer Don Mancini specifically negotiated with the management of the Syfy channel regarding the use of profanity in Chucky's speech (voiced by Brad Dourif). It was agreed that he would use 4 to 10 swear words in each episode.
- The series creators decided not to kill off the character played by Barbara Ellen Woods in the 1st season, but instead to kill her husband, played by Michael Terrio.
- Initially, Don Mancini (the series producer) intended to tell viewers about Glen and Glenda in his 2017 horror film 'Cult of Chucky'. According to the script, Tiffany, played by Jennifer Tilly, was supposed to explain how Glen ran away with a friend and how Glenda ended up in prison. However, management forbade any references to the horror film 'Seed of Chucky' (Don Mancini, 2004), and these lines were cut. In the second season of the 'Chucky' series (2021-2024), Mancini changed what subsequently happened to Glen and Glenda.
