Short description

What's left behind the scenes
- Although the action takes place in a school in an English town, the school itself is depicted as more American—lockers, the absence of school uniforms, and other details typical of schools in the USA. This was done intentionally to make it more relatable for American viewers.
- Screenwriter Laurie Nunn stated that she wanted the series to be a tribute to John Hughes.
- A university in Caleion, South Wales, was used as the filming location instead of a school.
