Short description
After landing from a turbulent but routine flight, the crew and passengers of Montego Air Flight 828 discover five years have passed in what seemed like a few hours. What's left behind the scenes
- The idea for the project came to the series creator, Jeff Rake, during a vacation 20 years before the premiere. However, film studios repeatedly rejected his proposal to bring it to the screen. It was only several years later, when he began pitching the idea again, that an American commercial broadcasting company and its network, NBC, showed interest.
- The title of every episode plays on the theme of airplanes or air travel in one way or another. This includes the very first episode, which is simply titled "Pilot."
- The flight number is 828. While the character played by Melissa Roxburgh is in church, she reads Romans 8:28: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Later, she feeds the dogs and finds the girls in a house with the same number, 828.
