Short description

- The apartment where Rachel Brosnahan's character lives with her husband was created on the same set as her parents' apartment, but was given a more modern look, partly inspired by films featuring Doris Day (1922-2019).
- The exterior and the staircase of the Gaslight bar were filmed in New York, where a bar featuring aspiring comedians is actually located.
- The title uses the same font found in the credits of the reality show 'The Osbournes' (2002-2005).
- For guidance regarding her role, Rachel Brosnahan consulted her friend Jasmine Pierce (a stand-up comedian and writer for the 2014 series 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon').
- On the very day Rachel Brosnahan was told she had landed the lead role in the series, she found out that she had been rejected for another project on the grounds that she was not considered funny enough.
