Set at the turn of the century, “Another Period” follows the misadventures of the Bellacourts, Newport, RI’s first family, who have absolutely nothing to offer to the world, but who have so much money it doesn’t matter. The series focuses on sisters “Lillian” and “Beatrice”, who care only about how they look, what parties they attend and becoming famous, which is a lot harder in 1902.

What's left behind the scenes

The incident that left David Wayne's character in a coma was added to the script at the last minute. This was because it suddenly became clear that the actor would be busy with other projects, necessitating a reduction in his screen time for this production.
Although many names appeared in the opening credits, Ricky Lindhoum and Natasha Leggero were the only cast members available throughout the first season. Everyone else had contractual obligations to other projects, which meant that almost the entire first season was filmed out of order, depending on which actors were available on set on any given filming day.
