What's left behind the scenes
- Don was originally supposed to be a boy, and Nicky a girl. Their surname was intended to be Haley instead of Harper. These changes were made by decision of the producers.
- Initially, the quadruplets were intended to be around 13 years old, but their age was ultimately reduced to 9.
- Casey Simpson auditioned for the role of Nicky, but it was decided that he was better suited for the role of Ricky, and he was cast as such.
