Short description

Violetta is a lonely but exceptionally talented teenager who returns to her hometown of Buenos Aires after living many years on the “old continent”. Back home, she will visit Studio 21, a space full of art and music, and will become a frequent visitor. In her new life, she finds true friends and love, as she discovers her innate talent and passion for music and, in turn, builds and faces the great experience of growing up.

What's left behind the scenes

During the filming of the first season, Martina Stoessel was missing a tooth, so a prosthetic one was made for her.
Actress, singer, and dancer Lodovika Comello knew no Spanish at all, and arrived at her screen test having learned only a few phrases in Spanish at the last moment.
At the start of filming, actress, singer, and dancer Martina Stoessel was 14 years old, while the rest of the cast were 18 or older.
Mercedes Lambre had not planned to audition; she simply came along with a friend, but she was noticed and asked to read a few lines, after which she was cast as Ludmila.
