What's left behind the scenes
- In episode 17 of season 6 (18th minute), Viktor Barinov receives a fake passport in the name of Aslan Gutkaev with a birth date of December 23—this is the name and birth date of one of the series' screenwriters.
- After Dmitry Nazarov was cast in the role of Chef Viktor Barinov, an amusing fact emerged: in the script, Viktor's daughter was named Arisha and his ex-wife was Olga. Once filming began, it became known that Dmitry Nazarov's real-life daughter and wife are also named Arisha and Olga. As a result, it was decided to change the characters' names in the series—they are now called Alisa and Tatyana.
- In episode 9 of season 6 (15th minute), one of the series' screenwriters appears on Ainura's poster posing as the Kyrgyz singer Zhannat Kerimbaev.
- In episode 13 of season 2, Fedya and Senya decide to play a prank on Max by putting eggs into a bottle. After the first egg goes in, the viewer sees one egg in the bottle. Then, it shows a second egg being put in, but the bottle itself is not shown. When the third egg barely fits through the neck of the bottle and the full bottle is shown again, it is visible that there is only one egg in the bottle, when there should have been two. When Max returns, there are three eggs in the bottle again.
- Actor Dmitry Nazarov, like his character Viktor Petrovich Barinov, has been a devoted lifelong fan of Spartak Moscow.
- "Kitchen" became the most expensive of all Russian sitcoms—the cost of a single episode is 200 thousand dollars (a total of 8 million dollars was spent on the originally planned 40 episodes), and the cost of purchasing the rights to just one Beyoncé song was approximately 1 million rubles.

- Dmitry Nagiev's character in the series is named Dmitry Vladimirovich Nagiev. Nagiev and his first wife owned a restaurant called 'Paradox.' On top of everything else, Nagiev's character is an actor who opened the restaurant to follow current trends and make his friends envious. Nagiev himself speaks of his character as follows: 'Most likely, the character named Dmitry Vladimirovich and I are two different people. I could never successfully play myself. Therefore, I play a certain image of how I imagine this person, but as a result, it is probably far from the real me.'
