What's left behind the scenes
- The virus in Dexter's computer is a parody of the 'Pentium FDIV' bug in the original Pentium processors released by Intel in 1994. The manufacturer's attempt to conceal the problem and their reaction to its discovery sparked consumer dissatisfaction and media criticism, after which the company announced it would replace defective processors for anyone who requested it free of charge.
- Initially, Paul Rugg was brought on as a screenwriter, but it ended up with him voicing the main character.
