What's left behind the scenes
- The series was originally intended to be titled "Grange Park." Screenwriter Phil Redmond had used this name in another of his works, "Brookside" (1982-2003).
- The title of the series has no connection to the actual Grange Hill tube station in the suburbs of London.
- On February 6, 2008, it was announced that the 30-year production of the series would end, and its final episode aired on September 15, 2008.
