What's left behind the scenes
- When ITV1 aired the first episode of the project, the commercials during the breaks were shown without sound, using only subtitles, in honor of the deafness of the main character, Alison, as well as the actress who played her, Rose Ayling-Ellis, who is deaf from birth.
- The series features an actual police station in one of the towns of Hertfordshire in southeast England, which had closed shortly before filming began.
