What's left behind the scenes

Damien Molony, who played Jim Bergerac, said that he received a warm welcome letter from John Nettles, who played the role in the original 1981-1991 series. Nettles was offered a guest role in this reboot project, but he declined the offer. The actor felt he was too old (having already turned 80) for it.
