What's left behind the scenes

The basic premise and three of the four main characters are borrowed from C. Spencer's graphic novel (who is credited among the writers); however, their backgrounds and the unfolding of the crime differ between the novel and the miniseries. Details regarding the character played by Kyle Soller also vary.
