What's left behind the scenes
- Maxmillian, the bionic dog from the 3rd season, was named so because his creation cost $1 million.
- When the series moved from ABC to NBC before the filming of the final season, Richard Anderson and Martin E. Brooks became the first actors in cinematic history to play the same characters in two series produced by different networks. This is because Anderson and Brooks continued filming in 'The Six Million Dollar Man', of which 'The Bionic Woman' was a spin-off.
- When the production of the series moved from the ABC television network to NBC, Lee Majors stopped appearing as a guest star because he was still under contract with ABC. The same can be said for the lead actress, Lindsay Wagner.
