Short description

A Librarian from the past time travels to the present and finds himself stuck here. When he returns to his castle, which is now a museum, he inadvertently releases magic across the continent. He is given a new team to help him clean up the mess he made, forming a new team of Librarians.

What's left behind the scenes

Even before the premiere, it was announced that the project would move from the CW platform to TNT, and the premiere was postponed from late 2024 to 2025.
According to CW President Brad Schwartz, the project's creators wanted to secure the services of at least one member of the original 'Librarians' cast—even in a cameo role—and Christian Kane expressed a desire to play Jacob Stone once again.
