What's left behind the scenes

Originally, Elsbeth Tascioni (played here by Carrie Preston) was a recurring character in the series "The Good Wife" (2009-2016).
In the very first episode, the main character is standing at the edge of the sidewalk when a passing car splashes her with water from a puddle. Tascioni isn't angry or upset. She is thrilled. Tascioni recently moved to New York from Chicago. She is a lawyer working for the police. She loves New York. When the car splashes her, she thinks: "I'm in New York! This is wonderful!" Actress Carrie Preston mentioned in an interview that she is a big fan of the series "Sex and the City" (1998-2004) and simply loves the moments where Sarah Jessica Parker's character expresses her admiration for New York.
