What's left behind the scenes
- Lora Harrison, played by Kaya Scodelario, is a fictional character. She is a composite image of all the journalists who wrote about Ayrton Senna.
- According to Galvão Bueno (a Brazilian TV presenter and commentator who was a friend of Senna and played himself in the film), Senna loved Adriane Galisteu (who also appeared on screen as herself) and even planned to marry her, but his relatives opposed it. Senna's family has maintained their disapproval of Galisteu to this day. It is claimed that Netflix refused to film the movie unless Galisteu was included, and she does appear in the film for approximately one and a half minutes.
