What's left behind the scenes
- Filming the first competition, titled "Red Light, Green Light," took several hours. Participants had to stand perfectly still for 40 minutes at a time while the show's creators checked if anyone had moved.
- The show's creators hinted to the participants that the more expressively they behaved upon losing and being eliminated from the competition, the greater the chance they would be shown on screen.
- While completing the challenges, participants experienced severe emotional and physical discomfort; some required medical assistance due to frostbite and nervous breakdowns.
- Unlike in the series, where participants ran on sand during the "Red Light, Green Light" competition, here they competed on a carpet. This was done to protect the equipment, as sand could have gotten into the cameras while filming the participants running.
- During the filming of the glass bridge challenge, stunt doubles fell through the glass trapdoors instead of the actual participants.
