Short description

What's left behind the scenes

The series was conceived as a soft reboot of the Netflix series 'Daredevil' (2015-2018), executed in a less gloomy tone.
Initially, it was intended that Sandrine Holt would replace Ayelet Zurer in the role of Vanessa; however, the fans' critical reaction to the new casting convinced the project's creators to keep Zurer in the role.
On October 23, 2023, it was announced that Kevin Feige and other Marvel studio executives watched several early episodes of the series during the downtime caused by the writers' and actors' strikes. They were so dissatisfied with what they saw that the decision was made to replace all the writers and directors.
