What's left behind the scenes
- This series could be called a spin-off of "Doom Patrol" (2019-2023), as its characters first appeared on screen in one of the episodes of the third season of "Doom Patrol". Eventually, however, the rights to "Dead Boy Detectives" were acquired by Netflix, which has already released the series "The Sandman" (2022-), which takes place in the same universe as "Dead Boy Detectives" and also had the active participation of Neil Gaiman in its creation.
- Ruth Connell was the only cast member from the series "Doom Patrol" (2019-2023) to return to her previous role in this project (in this case, a night nurse).
